Sweet 16 Already!

Happy Sweet 16 Gabby!

Aleena was invited to Gaby's "Sweet" 16 Birthday party! She was so excited to get a huge lolipop invitation and share it with the teenagers! 

She was the little mascot for the day.

Gaby's theme was anything "sweet". 

She made awesome Tshirts for 16 of her friends, including Aleena. 

They planned an amazing Mall Scavenger Hunt around La Cantera.

The girls broke up into teams...blue, green, and pink

Each team had a list of tasks that they had to complete such as collecting a french fry, asking a guy to marry them, getting make up applied at a make up counter, and carrying shopping bags for customers.  The list went on and on.

We got to La Cantera and the girls were hyped with energy ready to win the challenge.

At the moment we gave them the list..the girls took off to win the competition. 

While the girls scattered and ran aournd the mall..Aleena hung out with me and we played on the rides. 

We got a glimpse of the girls running around... they darted by quickly though. 

Aleena enjoyed some of Gaby's sweet treats while wiating for the girls to round up.

After the girls rounded up and compared to see who had the most completed on their list, the girls headed out to their limo...YUP Limo!  Aleena was so excited about seeing the Limo. Of course, she didn't ride in it as they don't have seatbelts for carseats, so we followed the limo along to the next destination.

Aleena had  great time yelling at me to keep up.  

We ended up the Botanical Gardens.

This place was soo beautiful. Too bad we got there late and the sun was already set.

We didn't have very much time for pictures.

We did get a few really good ones.

After the Botanical Gardens, the girls piled back into the limo to head downtown and take more pictures.

By this time, it was close to Aleena's bed time and she was really tired.

Aleena kept asking for her "girls" and when she discovered that they were in the limo, she hopped right in.

She L O V E D  the limo and the blarring music.  She seemed to fit right in. It was so funny to watch.

That night, from Aleena's balcony, we watched the fireworks from a local carnival in Stone Oak.

She LOVES fireworks, but I'm not quite sure if she loved them as much as she did the limo.

Needless to say, it was the perfect ending to the perfect day.

Aleena had a great time and was happy to see the fireworks.
