Aleena and I selected this book from a book fair her school was holding. Thank goodness we did because she is in love with it! She has memorized every word in this book to the point where she reads it to us now versus us reading it to her.
She got to stay with wella while mommy worked. She read wella the book and then asked wella if she can go pick apples. Since it is not apple picking season, wella suggested the best alternative...
BAKE AN APPLE PIE!
and that's exactly what they did.
We have to tast all of the ingredients to make sure they are sweet enough for the pie wella!
All of the apples are in!
Now the crust is just perfect!
I didn't get any pictures with the pie already done, but I have to say that this was absolutely amazing!
The pie was so delicious, sweet and warm!
My baby is going to be an expert cook like her wella.
Good thing because I can't cook to save my life, so someone has to carry the tradition.
Thanks mom for making this a very special day for Aleena...now all she wants to do is make apple pies!
