Mother's Day Weekend ~ Part 2

The next morning, we had some backyard time. Fortunately the owner of the property had some outdoor toys to include a hula-hoop. She has never hula-hooped before so this was a real treat for her!

We saw a place called Bundy's and since most of you know Matt's favorite show is Married with Children...anything that says Bundy...we're there!

We stopped for pics...Why I am being swallowed by the big fish?

After a good breakfast, we stopped and visited with they huge dogs. I though for sure Aleena would be terrified, but she went right up to the face of these huge dogs and started petting them.

Look at my baby surfing!

LIKE A CHAMP!

I was determined to get my henna tattoo! The guy doing my tat was pretty cool. Too bad the henna didn't even soak into my skin to even stain it!
On our way home, we crossed the boat ferry. It is a very short trip, but enough to get out and enjoy the fresh air.

The drive home was very quick. Poor Aleena was beat from her weekend. Can you tell?
She woke up to greet Meeko who was also doing well from her relaxing quiet isolated weekend.
My mother is a blessing. With all that had taken place last week between Marcelino, Meeko, work, and completing the HOA newsletter, I left my home in a disaster. Since we asked my mom to take care of Meeko for us, she also took care of our house. My house was clean and sparkly when we walked in. I heard a choir sing as I opened the door that's how wonderful it felt to come home to some serenity.
On top of that, I had a nice Mother's Day gift and cake waiting for me. THANKS MOM!!
We headed up to Wellas house to wish her a Happy Mother's Day as well. Aleena delivered her flowers.

Wella and her baby
It was an amazing Mother's Day weekend! Thank you to my wonderful family for making it so special!
For my best friend Michelle, she may consider this one of her worst Mother's Day, but she has the greatest gift of all, friends and family to support her through this very trying time, and the prayers that will see Marcelino and her family through this trying time. I love you Michelle!
