Aleena has been introduced to the potty for quite some time now and has been using her pull ups. She likes to sit on the potty and flush it, but has only been successful a few times in actually hitting her mark..if you know what I mean!So we decided to try a new techniques..panties! For sure she would love her new Elmo, Dora, and Minnie panties that she would not want to get them dirty! So we tried it out....Aleena had 3 accidents on our floor, 2 on tile, 1 on carpet.... Thankfully, when it came to doing #2..she always forwarned us, so we immediately ran to the toilet and....TADA!!! Success!!!
We rewarded her w/ an elmo tattoo which she displayed proudly and made sure to tell everyone how she got the tattoo.. The day ended quickly, so it was back into pull ups for the night.
I'm not sure if I would call the day a success. I was cleaning and shampooing all day..but with time, I'm sure it will all happen. We will try again tomorrow....
