USAA supports Wounded Warriors Project

Each year, USAA runs a Bowl-a-Thon fundraiser to support the Wounded Warrior Project. A local bowling alley shuts down its business for 4 days, while the hundreds of teams of only USAA employees, each team raising $250, take their turns to bowl during their designated time slots. The fundraiser is driven by the employees to raise the money. The 5 bowling members on the team each get T-shirts. This is such an amazing event..even though 5 people sign up to vote, the entire team comes out to support the cause and to hang out with friends outside of the work environment. Just so that you know with 15,000+ employees in the San Antonio facility alone, even with 4 days of bowling at 2 hour timeslots each...this bowling alley was PACKED!

My team was very child friendly, so all of the kids bowled in our place! This was the first time Matt and Aleena got to meet my coworkers. The night was truly a lot of fun! The bowling alley was hoppin with people, drinks, food, and music!

What a blast!!! Aleena loves bowling!

Time to go! We had a great night, but it was time for us to shuffle on out since it was passed Aleena's bedtime. Also the next round was coming at 10:00 to do Glow and Bowl!

This is yet another reason why I am so unbelievably proud to work for USAA. They take care of their members, their employees, and the community..especially the military community.
Thank you to those who have served..especially those who have been injured at war. We had this amazing evening to benefit you!
USAA RAISED OVER $205,000 THIS YEAR!
All contributed from the employees
I am really proud of the people I work with for having such a big heart!
