Tonight was all about the preparations for Santa.
We opted not to do a ginger bread house this year, but instead found a foam gingerbread house that was more arts and crafts than mess, which I appreciate.
Aleena really enjoyed putting this house together.
Putting the finishing touches
It's all done! Look how pretty it turned out!
Showing it off again and getting ready to bake cookies for Santa.
Aleena wearing her cute chefs outfit from Uncle Jorgie's friend Dina
So cute!
Time to make cookies (the Bridgette way..from a box)
Aleena used her new oven mits and carefully placed the cookies in the oven
Waiting patiently!
She then moved to cookies to the cooling racks.
After an eventful evening at wella's house, we came home to get everything ready for Santa.
Aleena putting cookies and milk out for Santa with Meeko's help.
Reading her book before bedtime in her new 12 days of Christmas pj's.
It must be noted that when we told Aleena that Santa would be coming down the chimney, she looked at us like we were crazy. She went to the chimney and tried to imagine how big Santa can make it down the small hole. We told her it was magic...and she was set!
She is truly a believer!
The Whitehead house is ready Santa!
We can't wait to hear the jingle bells from your sleigh and reindeer!
