Break from potty training & Blueberry ice cream

We had been trapped indoors for 3 days straight during my supposed vacation. Thankfully Aleena was really getting the hang of her potty training, so we braved the outside world. We joined Chrissy for lunch at Order Up and had a great opportunity to A -catch up with the Mattision happenings and B- test out Aleena's new bladder skills.

I enjoyed catching up with Chrissy..it had been way to long. Unfortunately it was a short visit because she had to head back to work.

Aleena did very well the entire time at the restaurant. I was very pleased. We tried her first round in a public toilet...no go..she was not interested. I thought for sure she knew that she didn't need to use the rest room. So we loaded up and were getting ready to head to the Rainbow Emerald Fun Center (where we had her 2nd birthday) and ACCIDENT... in her carseat no less.

So we halted all plans, headed home and cleaned up. Good thing though because she was desperately in need of a nap while I cleaned her carseat.

She woke up positively full of energy and craving blueberries. These pics were too cute to pass up! Here she is making blueberry ice cream!
