An early anniversary gift!

We originally had it planned to go head to Port Aransas, TX for an amazing 3 day vacation at the beach. Unfortunately the weather was not holding up for us, so we had to cancel. We booked an amazing 2 bedroom house from a website called http://www.vrbo.com/ (Vacation Rental By Owner) I encourage you to check this out on your next vacation before booking a hotel. We got an amazing deal. The best part... it was 2 blocks from the beach. It has all of the amenities of a hotel, but with PRIVACY! This particular house had a fenced in backyard too for Aleena to run around in. But sadly we cancelled the reservation because of the thunderstorms that were coming in during the weekend. Thankfully the owner of the house we rented was amazing. She didn't keep our deposit..she simply said to book another weekend and she'll apply that deposit! Yeah!!!!

Since we were home, we got a very yummy surprise in the mail...SHARI'S BERRIES!!! If you have never had a Shari's Berry, you are missing out! Nothing more to say about that! Go to their website an order NOW! Our good friend's the Mattison's sent us our very special strawberries in honor of our wedding anniversary. For those that attended our wedding, you may recall that we had these as one of the favors...YUM!
