This morning we found Aleena lining up her little duckies in a row. Poor baby is as anal as her mommy. Everything has to be symetrical and balanced. We walked into the bathroom to see this...
After her she finished playing with her ducks, we asked the Mattison family to join us to one of our favorite little spots in Boerne, TX. We went to this little river last year for Godparents day. It was so nice to visit it again!
On our way to Boerne!
The pretty river where you can feed ducks, turtles, and fish
Throwing bread in the water to attract the ducks
Posing pretty for pictures! It was such a beautiful day!
Feeding the geese
Aleena with Kaysen and Kaidon
Aleena and her Godbrother, Kaidon
Piggy back time...so sweet. Matt really loves his baby girl and she adores her daddy!
We walked down to the dam where the water was overflowing from our recent rain storms
Aleena climbing a tree with daddy.
After feeding the ducks...I brought some cascarones left over from Easter and Fiesta along with bubbles for the kids. They had a good time smashing the cascarones and getting confetti everywhere. The bubbles were a lot of fun too!
After playing in the park, the kids were hungry so we stopped at a very yummy Mexican restaurant called El Chapparal. It was very yummy food. Afterwards we took pictures with the bull in front of the restaurant.
Although the kids were tired, I was determined to get my snow cone. I was very sad to see that my shaved ice hut was not where it always was. I was determined to find out where it moved to. After an inquiry with a local restaurant, we hunted down my snowcone booth and tada...success. I was very very happy. This has become my Boerne tradition, and in my opinion..totally worth the drive!
My favorite shave ice lady!
Aleena got Strawberry and Blue.. aka blue raspberry
Testing out the sepia effect on my camera..such a sweet picture of Kaysen and Aleena
After the long day and in warm sun, the kiddos were pooped. Chrissy took Matt and Aleena home while I went to meet up with my friends at Panera Bread. Here's my baby crashed out on the way home.
Thank you Kevin and Chrissy for coming out with us today. We enjoyed seeing you and it was fun catching up. I hope you enjoyed the snow cones as much as I did!
